BambooRoll — Terms of Service

Welcome to BambooRoll. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of:
(a) our website and online shop at bambooroll.org (the "Shop"), and
(b) the BambooRoll mobile app (the "App").
Both are operated by BambooRoll ApS, a company registered in Denmark ("BambooRoll", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Shop or the App, or by placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Shop or the App.

2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 16 years old to use BambooRoll. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details secure. You can delete your app account at any time in the App under Settings → Data & Privacy.

3. THE APP SERVICE
BambooRoll provides guided foam-rolling and mobility recovery sessions, personalized to information you provide, along with optional features such as training-app connections and an AI coach. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
4. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
BambooRoll is a wellness and mobility product. Its content, sessions, and AI coach provide general guidance only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are not a substitute for professional care. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new physical activity, and stop and seek help if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You use the App and our products at your own risk.
5. SUBSCRIPTIONS & IN-APP BILLING
The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions, which may include a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. All in-app purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds for app subscriptions are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies.
6. CONNECTED SERVICES
If you choose to connect them, Apple Health, Strava, and WHOOP are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Optional AI features are provided using Anthropic. These services are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices.

7. PRODUCTS & ORDERS
We sell recovery products (such as foam rollers) through the Shop. Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the actual item. When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase; a binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (for example, due to stock limitations or an obvious pricing error), in which case we will refund any amount already paid.
8. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Payment is processed securely by our payment providers via Shopify; we do not receive or store your full card details. Ownership of goods passes to you upon full payment.
9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We ship to the regions listed at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery.
10. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY RETURNS)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase of physical goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at support@bambooroll.org before the 14-day period ends and return the goods to us. We will refund your payment, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back. Goods should be returned in a resalable condition; you may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods. Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.
11. FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE GOODS
Your statutory consumer rights apply in full. Under Danish law you have a 2-year right to complain (reklamationsret) about goods that are defective or not as described. If an item is faulty, contact us at support@bambooroll.org and we will repair, replace, or refund the item as required by law.
12. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@bambooroll.org and we will try to resolve it. As an EU consumer, you may also submit your complaint via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse the Shop or the App, interfere with or disrupt their operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use them for any unlawful purpose.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The BambooRoll name, logo, app, website, content, and materials are owned by BambooRoll ApS and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without our prior written permission.
15. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Except as required by law, the App and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the App or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or Shop if you breach these Terms.
17. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you reside, and mandatory rights are not affected by this clause.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes apply to orders placed and app use after the update.
